This gallery is primarily set up to share images of moths that I've taken over the past several years on my moth blog; most were taken with older point/shoot cameras that suited my needs for night photography well at the time. Image quality wasn't a large concern, and the photos are for documentation purposes only. Many species will be shown resting on my moth sheets, which were hung near a mercury vapor light on our wooded property, or a blacklight setup that I placed further back into the woods to attract them. I have 100's of images to add here as time permits, and will eventually separate the gallery into families as I add more photos.
