Garry volunteered at the kiddie pond, and I volunteered at the Wildlife Recovery rehab. presentation.
Joe Rogers is the most personable rehabber I've ever met. He's worked tirelessly to reintroduce Peregrine Falcons in Michigans' Upper Peninsula, and also is on the board of Michigan Loon Preservation Association. If you ever get a chance to view one of his presentations, do so. His knowledge of birds and bird behavior is vast and his humor delightful. These folks are unsung heroes in my book, for the tireless work they do. They also operate on a shoe-string budget and donations are always helpful and appreciated.
