Cindy,

I have now spent several hours browsing your galleries. I thought if you've given me this much pleasure, the very least I can do is make sure you know how much I enjoy your work! I also made the jump to your Blog and enjoyed that at least as much.

I have seen the work of quite a few photographers who can capture an image tack sharp and who's composition is wonderful. You do those equally well but, in addition your work has an "art feel" that's unigue and I love it!

Reading about the destruction of your beloved woodlands and the death of your chipmunks upset me along with you as I read about what happened. Let's hope somewhere along the way enough people realize we are only a part of the greater picture, not any more important than the Box Turtle.

I will be back to visit and draw insperation from you work. I wish you well, in all you do!

Some very beautiful work. I also love photographing nature, especially birds. Hearing the bird songs on your home page is very welcoming. Photography is the only way I can express myself artistically. Would you mind sharing how you created the artistic section?
I am still building my site.

Thanks for sharing your photos and art.

While you may be physically challenged Cindy, there is nothing wrong with your sight, more importantly your VISION. Please drop me a line when you find time, I'd like to touch base with you. Cindy,
Photographers are many- true artists are few. You capture so many wonders of nature in such a unique and wonderful way. I read your website post 'for the love of birds' and felt an instant kinship with you. I too have loved birds my entire life, and I feel that I'm standing by your side listening to them sing!

Hi Cindy, I absolutely love this and it so inspiring! Love the music and you are just so talented!! The birds, oh the birds, I love them!! I have told you many times how much of a blessing you have been to my life but I have to tell you again. I am so thankful to God for bringing your delightful soul into my life. I just wait patiently until the day I can make it up north so that my daughter and I can meet you in person and on that day, be ready, because you are going to get the biggest hugs ever!! xoxxoo Cindy

Cindy,
You have been a true inspiration to me this morning and I am so thankful to have found you. Your website, music, blog and flickr page are full of such music and peace to my spirit. What a beautiful, beautiful place to land for a bit of rest and refreshing.
I am only just starting out in bird photography but it has brought me more joy in 2 weeks than I ever imagined possible. I see you have nearly a lifetime of experience with them. How wonderful is that....
:) Roni

Cindy,
I have been trying to reach you regarding a well known nature festival here in Michigan that I would love for you to attend with your artwork if possible? I must have your old email address. You had told me in the past to keep you on the list, and I'm hoping you are feeling better now and would able to attend. I've been a fan of your wonderful photography for many years now, and I met you at the Chippewa Nature Center several years ago. Please email me asap and I'll share more details.
All the best to you,
Beth

Cindy, did you leave NPN? I've been away some time myself and only just recently checked the site- I can't find your older images there, what happened? I'm glad I was able to find your website, I would feel a bit cheated if I were not able to enjoy your excellent photography. Please email me when you can and I hope your health has improved!

What a joy to discover your website. I lost most of my treasured art during a house fire, and now that I'm redecorating our new home I'm searching for 'new' artwork. I love your artistry Cindy, and will be sending you a print order. I like so many of your photos that it will be hard to choose just a few. Thank you for sharing your talents!

@Chloe: thank you for the nice words. I love your name , makes me think of a spring parfum :)
@Sherrie, thanks, I appreciate your support and kind words both. I hope to make my facebook page more interactive in time :)
@Paige: I received your order, and will have your proof gallery ready by this evening. Thanks so much!
@Martin: I'd be more than happy to share some of our favorite birding areas with you. We spend many hours in our local haunts and I do know them well.. as well as the birds that can be found there. We're fortunate to live in an area that is home to many species of birds. Spring can't come too soon, it's my favorite time of year when the birds return ..Appreciate your nice words, thank you :)
@Janice: Thanks! And yes, I was the photo art moderator at NPN for about 5 yrs. Image critique forums are helpful to beginning photographers, and I did enjoy my time there, (as well as making many great friends) but I rarely visit the site these days. And yes, I choose authenticity! :)
22.Janice O.(non-registered)
Your photos are like a breath of fresh air, weren't you a moderator at the nature photography.net forum at one time? I came very close to joining that website yrs ago, but I find most forums seem to stifle creativity. I like the badge on your blog that states "I choose authenticity!' So do I!
21.Martin V.(non-registered)
I did a websearch for your photography after viewing a few of your photos on the Smithsonian website. What a grand portfolio you have! I live in Indiana and plan on making a trip this spring for migrants. I'd love to pick your brains for some areas to visit for birds, you obviously know how to find them! Beautiful photos Cindy.
20.Paige R.(non-registered)
your work is so very inspirational. I want to order two prints, one for my office and one for my home. Your love of nature speaks in each one of your photos.

Tom, I replied to your email- hopefully I can be some help with your moth id's. I have quite a few 'unknowns' of my own yet, and some are so worn or the photos are so poor that they may always stay that way :)
thanks again for the nice comments!

I also photograph moths as a hobby, and found your images on the Moth Photographers website. I'm very inspired and moved by your photography and artwork both. You obviously have put much time into your fine website Cindy, and it shows.
I'm hoping that you can help me with some identifications. If it's ok with you, please email me back and I'll send you a few photos that I just can't seem to find in any of my sources.
Cheers,
Tom

I followed your link from flickr and am I ever glad I did. Your textured pics are so beautiful and I love your dog! What breed is he? He looks so much like one of my grandfathers hunting dogs. I love the one where he is jumping through the flowers. If you sell prints of that one please let me know. :-)

hi Larry, what a nice surprise- I remember you from the pbase years, it's been awhile :) I only store my moth images there now and really need to get them moved onto this site, which I hope to get accomplished this winter yet. Thanks for dropping by!
6.Larry S.(non-registered)
Outstanding photography, and I'm very impressed with your digital art. I recall you used to have a pbase gallery? It's good to cross paths with you again Cindy.

hi Jackie, thanks for dropping by! I just enabled guestbook comments this evening. Although I've had quite a few requests to do so over the past, I'm always a bit reluctant to add more email to my already full inbox, as I'm not always able to answer in a timely manner. We'll see how it goes from here :) Thanks for the nice words!
4.Jackie Tithof(non-registered)
Glad to see you've enabled a guestbook Cindy! Is there any way you can comment on individual photos like I've seen on other zenfolio websites? I absolutely love your work and I come here often just to watch your slideshow and listen to the peaceful music. Happy belated new year!

Wonderful new web site Cindy, easy to navigate and it gives your beautiful photos a great presentation.
